The Naked Feedback The ‘Swedge Rock’ pioneers. Scotland’s answer to Desert Rock. Influenced by Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Queens of the Stone Age, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and Marilyn Manson. Founded in 2015 in the small mining village of Blantyre, famous as the birthplace of David Livingstone. The town has now found its latest stars in the rock band The Naked Feedback. The band consists of brothers Dean and Callum with friends Derek and Jacko rounding out the powerful quartet. Gigging around the UK for the last year and a half, the band have found strong support throughout the country including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle. consistent gigs have helped in the band grown tighter and more open to experimentation especially heard on latest single “Rather Be Me” Growing from strength to strength and always changing and enhancing their sound since the release of their “Vol.1” EP in early 2016. The bands second EP “Something Wicked This Way Comes” showed a more experimental and darker sound to the band and the title track alongside its music video created a stir in the printed press for its apparently shocking content! The Release was covered by the bands longest string of live dates yet from Glasgow to Aberdeen to Manchester and Liverpool covering everywhere in between. The band know the best way to grow their audience and connect with fans is by playing to them literally on their front doorstep and this tour firmly focussed on getting the songs to as many people as possible. Their summer single “Who Is She?” was inspired by the bands trip to London 2016 and has become the bands best known and most loved tracks to date. Its a fast paced rocky number with a catchy chorus and a fierce breakdown, a live favourite that always causes carnage. Now, starting 2019 with a band, the band brought out the single “The Goodbye” which is a hard hitting rocker that everyone can relate to. It was promoted by a One take Music Video which is something you HAVE to see. The image of the band is slick, smart and sexy with a hint of Zebra print.
DMS – John and Mikey met in 2006. Callum joined us in 2007. Since then we’ve been in several bands and gone on many musical adventures in search of “absolute tunes”, of which DMS is the latest incarnation. While we three form the core of the band there has been a varied cast of supporting characters filling in on bass and keys over the past few years. Not fans of lengthy bios, we prefer to let our music do the talking. Have a listen then come and see us live for the full experience.
Swearwolves – Swearwolves are a Scottish Indie 2-piece based in Glasgow. As big fans of local music, the band began blending together their Scottish and Irish background in 2018 with debut performances at Mugstock and Butefest festivals. New single ‘Slow Down’ due for release in summer 2019. ‘It’s just amazing that they’ve only been performing together since earlier this year and they are already putting out music on this level.’ Off the record ‘their brand of melodic rock made a good impression. They had plenty of energy and some decent chat.’ Manic Pop Thrills
